When a young beautiful and bright girl takes her life away, she takes so many with her.
A mom whose will to live is gone.
A sister who will always be confused about the safety of everyday tasks.
A brother who lost his friend ,and his advice maker on life.
A dad who feels like he failed and let his family down.
An aunt who lost a niece and her sister too, because her sister is never gonna be the same.
An uncle whose life’s bitter war began.
A grandmother who lost the apple of her eye, a grandfather who lost his pride and joy.
A friend who lost her companion and strength and a community who lost the most contagious laughter and those big brown eyes that made our lifes a lot brighter.
It leaves us with so many unanswered questions.
We all feel somehow we could have done something different, We wonder what made her feel the only way out was to end it all. There is a silence, a bitter sadness where there used to be joyful energy and euphoria here in our small city. So many of us are wondering if it could happen to her then it could happen to any of us. Her memories will always live on, as her mom will make sure of them.
She was and always will be the center of my life. Her separation will never change that. My goal is to seek and fight my way to the end of the world. I will see her and we all will be whole again. The unfinished questions will be answered in God’s timing.
